BSM BAND LESSONS

  • Ages:   Students entering grades 7-12

Description: The BSM band department is offering half hour lessons throughout the summer for students looking to further their musical skills. ORCHESTRA LESSONS

  • Ages:   Students entering grades 7-12

DRAMA CAMP (1 WEEK CAMP)

  • Ages:    Students entering grades 3-7
  • Dates:  June 9 - June 12  (Mon-Thurs)                 
  • Time:    9:00 am - 12:00 (Noon) pm
  • Cost:    $135
  • Camp Theme will be "Trolls"

Description:  Explore your inner actor!  A performance showcasing skills learned will be held on the final day of camp.   Questions:  Jake Mahler or Caroline Stroh

JUMPSTART JUNIOR HIGH

For:  Incoming 6th & 7th Graders and new 8th Graders at BSM

Dates:  Mon - Thurs,  July 28-July 31

Time:  9:00 am - 12:00 pm (Noon)

Cost:  $230

Description:  JumpStart Junior High is a four day summer class designed to help prepare incoming Red Knights for the rigors of junior high in a safe, fun environment. Students will meet teachers and fellow classmates, get to know the building, learn how to use and care for their laptop, review reading and math skills, and set up an organizational system that they can use all school year. Lessons will have an environmental theme, and we will be spending some time outside.

Propel

This 3-day class will provide incoming freshmen with opportunities to develop their organizational and time management skills. No credit given.

Dates:  Monday, August 4 - Wednesday, August 6
Time:    8:30 am - 12:00 pm (Noon)
Location:   BSM Campus / Room 104
Cost:  $75
Purpose: 

  • Students will get an introduction of what to expect at BSM high school. They will learn about helpful resources, mass, convocations, service, schedules, lunches, dress code etc. 
  • Students will gain helpful tips on how to effectively plan, organize, study, take tests, take notes and self-advocate in order to increase success at the high school level. 
  • Students will get their computers early on Monday and will receive help on how to login to powerschool and schoology.
  • Students will also have the opportunity to work on their summer English assignment.
